Alt attribute keyword stuffing

Is alt attribute keyword stuffing bad, good, ignored?

Hey guys,

I've been redesigning my companies website and while doing so i've been adding lots of information to the alt tag, I shouldn't really say i'm stuffing them full of keywords, but their are a lot of keywords in the alt tag because it is legitimately related to the picture the person would be viewing, wasn't sure if anyone knew of a certain limit of words to alt tags or if this is really a huge deal?
