Automating reports from PPC providers

Is there an easy way to get reports from dozens of campaigns?

Hi all,

I'm currently running about 30 different campaigns with various providers and I'm having difficulty centralizing all the various reports that I have to go through. Does anyone know of any tools or techniques for automating this process? Basically, I'd like to find a tool that for example gets the daily reports from Espotting, Google and Overture, prompting me for the anti-automation word but doing the downloading for the various campaigns automatically once the site is accessed.

Thanks,

PS : i'm new to this forum and couldn't find any relevant previous threads, so please forgive me if this is old stuff already :)

Some of the bid management programs can consolidate reporting. We use GoToast, and it consolidates our reporting for Overture and Google, however, there are often issues with Google reporting due to the fact that they do not officially make any concessions for third party tools such as GoToast... all bid management tools that work with Google are really just "scraping" data from the normal AdWords interface.

My advice would be to get some experience in developing macros for Excel, such that your exported reports from Google and Overture are automatically updated... A good macro author is worth their weight in gold.

Hi Richardsi,

Thanks for the info, I had a look at GoToast and it seems like it could be useful. I'm a programmer myself by education, and pretty comfortable in Excel VBA programming, and was really hoping for a bare-bones tool that only downloaded reports and consolidated them.

I tend to import data into a database and then link to it from Excel spreadsheets, as this allows me total freedom in the kind of questions I can ask from the data. Tools like GoToast provide a lot of extra functionality which though useful, is already being handled by other processes I've put in place.

Thanks again,
