Hi,

I have some sites that I'm putting up soon related to e-commerce. These sites are selling items specific to their "genre" so-to-say - for instance, balloons, tanks and spoons. I've developed a shopping cart system, along with substantial relavant content for each of these site ideas. This content is unique and helpful to the site visitor.

However, various areas of these unique sites might overlap (i.e. the info on "contact us").

Is this bad in a search engine's eyes? And if so, what to do?

Thanks

If the actual content is vastly different then I can't see a problem.

Tens of thousands of people run a number of web sites which would have the same contact details. I alone have 12 web sites which are not at all related but all have my address and phone number on them.

Simon.

Thanks. Would it look strange to the search engine if I were to put "no index" on any substantially similar pages?
