If your company was called "widget ltd" and you sold "blue widgets" on the site an example tag could be:

Blue widgets for sale at widget ltd, County, Country

A lot of engines take great note of the first few words of a title tag so I've found it's better to say what the site is about instead of the company name.

Don't use too many words either, the SE's don't like that. I would say that you should stay around the 10-12 mark max for both title and description.

Simon.

Navdeep, here's a good primer for Building the Perfect Page [webmasterworld.com] which discusses the title element and META description tag.
