putting keyphuase just in the keyword tag. Do these get picked up?

Hi,

Will the main search engines pick up keyphrases that just appear in the keywords tag?

I have a site of a company that is in a location that is not well thought of. Their service to some extent is geographically restricted. I would like to put key phrases in the keywords in the keywords meta tags and not on the main page of the form "blue widgets from not well thought of town". Its just that I'd like people from "not well thought of town" to know of this companies existance without making it too obvious to potential clients that they are based in this exact location.

The keyword meta tag is only used by one search engine that I know of and it isn't one you would ever have heard of.

Title and word content on the page are what counts now (google ignores even my description tag and gets all the words it needs from the page text).
