Hey Guys,

I hope I posted this in the correct section.

I read a thread about the guy having the discussion group that was not
spiderable. My discussion group also is not spiderable.

However once converted I will have over 22,000 posts all that have at least
one keyword or keyword phrase in it. Now my question is this. If I took the
time to make each one of these keyword phrases anchored text with a hyper link
to my pages that have to do with each keyword.

That would then create over 20,000 back links to my new website.

Would this work? Or am I grasping at straws?

Thanks all

If I was participating in a discussion group, I would be more than slightly annoyed if the moderator changed my messages by inserting links to his/her homesite.

Don't know how your users will react to this...

Just my two cent,

Laurenz

Hello Thanks for getting back with me so promptly. This is for our archive. It actually would add extra benefit for the end user, such as someone not knowing what our product is. Our product would be then be a hyper link pointing it to our page.

Yes, archives are good. If you create static pages of forums, with good content, they will be spidered. and a lot of forums do this.
