Can someone tell me what search engines & directories that are worth submitting my website to, apart from the ones below...

Open Directory Project
Google
AltaVista
Gigablast
Inktomi
Yahoo!
AOL
MSN
Hotbot
Teoma/AskJeeves
Lycos
LookSmart
Zeal

Thanks in advance,
Tom

In addition to the general directories it is often useful to submit to appropriate specific directories, either topic-specific or regional (or both). To find topic-specific directories check with dmoz.org, under most topics there is a category of "directories".

totaly agree with Mohamed_E. Sometimes a good listing a topic specific directory can be a gem. In general these sites will have less traffic but the traffic will be a lot more targeted to your service.

Usualy I start with the big guys. them move onto the second and third tear se's and directories before moving on to vortals and on topic directories.
