Better Approach to Requested Link Text

Keyword Keyword Keyword, or KeywordKeywordKeyword.com?

Newbie question not found in search (though I'm sure it's here somewhere).

IF you have a keyword domain (not the hyphenated spam, a legitimate one) and you are requesting links, would your experience lead you to ask for anchor text of:

1. the domain itself -- "www.domaincom" as an example,

or

2. the keyword when it is descriptive and helpful -- "Domain Keywords" as an example.

Thanks for any insight/experience!

Domain Keywords would be preferable for anchor text, because it matches and would support words that people might actually search for.

You'd get your "link popularity brownie points" either way, though.
