Does a site does not come up in Netscape but it does in IE, will that have any effect SEO wise? The site should be compatible to all browsers, but I wasn't sure if it would have an effect on SEO.

YES.

As far as directories listings are in play,(and they are) a lot of web surfers will reject the site if it is not cross browser compatible. A direct market share lost along with the inbound links from it...

I love to contradict Nick! ;)

Plus, what is the point of getting visitors trought search engines if they cant see the site?

Well thanks gang! I know this needs to be fixed anyway- but wasn't sure what type of effect it really has SEO wise.

Good point about directory listings Macguru!

Thanks
