Dear Board --

I'd like to get some feedback as to what sort of data people have worked off of to project revenue streams from their campaign? I guess the biggest variable is how do you estimate the amount of traffic to your clients website if they are ranked in the top 5 positions for a keyword w/ 300 unique clicks in a quarter? Afterwards, i imagine it's a matter of guessing the conversion rate to click thrus.. However, it's getting that first set of data that is the difficult task. Any thoughts?

Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], indevor.

On thing I've found useful is to throw some traffic at the site via PPC. You can quickly get some idea of what traffic will do that way.

Good luck,
