I was just looking over the Whois , and I saw all the popular search engine's have register domain's that can be written as a typing mistake and that re-direct to the original domain's , For example Alltheweb.com has these domain's registered re-directing to the original ones:
www.Allethweb.com
www.Allethweb.net
www.Allethweb.org
www.Alltehweb.com
www.Alltehweb.net
www.Alltehweb.org
www.Allthewbe.com
www.Allthewbe.net
www.Allthewbe.org
www.Alltheweb.com
www.Alltheweb.net
www.Alltheweb.org
www.Altheweb.net
www.Altheweb.org

Pretty Good, Let's see Google's domain's:
www.Gogle.com
www.Gogole.com
www.Googel.com
www.Googil.com
www.Google.biz
www.Google.net
www.Google.us
www.Googlecache.com

Pretty good , But as almost every person that uses the Internet for anything , Know's Google, so it is well known.

But What about ATW? I only came to know ATW when I joined this Forum! I use to use Google , as my search engine and didn't even use to try AV , ATW , LS, Giga Blast and stuff.

So will re-directing domain's help ATW to get traffic? And also , Why don't sites like GigaBlast (Low Popular search engine's) do that? Will this bring them traffic?

They may pick up some type-in traffic that way, but I suspect that a bigger goal is to protect their branding.

I've seen domains based on typos of established businesses that were used for popup hells. Bad news all around!

Below are some more google domains. I agree that companies will often register misspellings to protect their branding. I did. Sometimes they gain domains after filing and successfully winning a complaint w/ ICANN or a lawsuit against infringers.

google.org
google.info
googlecom.com
wwwgoogle.com
wwwgoogle.net
wwwgoogle.org
wwwgoogle.us
googleproxy.com
googlebot.com
googlebot.net
googlebot.org
