I am ranked just under 20,000 in alexa with ZERO links, do I need them?

I dont have tons of time to be researching similar sites just to attempt to get links to obtain some "points" for google. Unless its really worth it. Why would anyone want to link to me, a page with over 2500 unique visitors a day, but the lowest PR possible?

Just put a link exchange system running on your website and if you get 2500 unique visitors a day, you will get the links for yourself.

Simple. See who links to you. There are a lot of people who want to link and get linked. Just setup a nice links system.
