I guess that it was only a matter of time, but it seems that SEO has gone mainstream.
I heard my first AM radio ad for a SEO firm out of New York on this fine Sunday morning. I nearly drove off the road when I heard it.
I don’t know what 30 seconds of radio time in metro NYC costs, but someone thinks it’s worth it. It was great. They used big SEO phrases like Search Engine Results Pages and Search Engine Optimization and “keywords”. The hook phrase used was to claim to have a 100% success rate in increasing their client’s online visibility.
I’m not really making light of this, but it sure got my attention.
Interesting that what I have always called “the real background work” is now seeing the light of day.

On the downside …Their website does show a picture of a guy wearing a tie.

take a look at the radio stations website to see if it has the treatment.

a LOT of contra deals are being done at present.

In the UK, the last I heard was Espotting on the radio.

I don’t see a direct link referring to them, but this is the first time I have seen a US Patent# listed in the source code for some java script code.

"100% success rate in increasing their client’s online visibility" ....... a suitably vague statement, or perhaps Im just a cynic.

I checked the "clients" sites and 1/2 had PR0. I wonder how they back up their claims.
