Auto hit programs

Are pop-unders effective or are they draining your money

I came across a website called [snip] and they sell, I guess you can say contextual advertising?

Well anyway, they have a program that allows you to buy pop-unders that go directly to your site when a user searches for certain keywords at SE's or just browsing pages.

The more I read, the more interested i became but then I realized that there are many sites like this that just drain your pockets leaving you with fake hits.

My question is, has anyone used this type of service and was your experience decent or should I head for the hills and stick with traditional advertising?

if you use pop unders pass me the URLs so that I NEVER go there. I hate them along with a large proportion of the web using public. Perhaps you will get good results but I doubt it.

Stay clean, dont go the popunder routine. Get some nice friendly adwords or something :)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I agree with you on the pop under thing from a consumer point of view. I think I will head for the hills and stick with traditional advertising.
