Second Denial of Service attack on my host this week

This week my host was attacked twice (DOS attack). My and thousands of others people's sites were down this week due to a DOS attack on Tuesday. Yesterday there was second attack and the result is still there.

Reaching the site is impossible at the moment, so also for the deep crawler I guess. It is going on for more then 24hrs now.

Does anybody know what possible effects this could have on our rankings and in/exclusions in any update?

This has happened to many people, and it has happened to me in the past as well.

From Google's Webmaster Info section:

If your page does not appear at all, there here are some other possible explanations.

Your site may not have been reachable when we tried to crawl it because of network or hosting problems. When this happens, we retry multiple times, but if the site cannot be crawled, it will not be listed in our current index. If it was a transient problem, your site will likely show up in the next index, which will be completed in a few weeks.

If GoogleBot just happens to visit your site now (usual cycle about 4 weeks), they will drop your pages. Unlucky situation.

However, when they re-visit, they will re-index your site. You may need to re-submit your site to them once.
