Hello gurus,

Somehow odp/google ... list my page2.htm but not my home page (index page).

So how should I optimize my site to be top ranked?
Should I optimize the page2.htm or index.htm?
The page2.htm has pr5. and index.htm's cache is the same as page2.htm as I duplicated page2.htm into index.htm (but later I created a new index.htm)

So my question is,
which page I should optimize.

should all other pages link back to page2.htm or index.htm?

Thanks....

Should I simply redirect page2.htm to index.htm?

Don't worry about it. Just make sure it's clear how to get from page2 to the rest of your site. (And make sure *all* your pages are well-designed and optimized for easy spidering by the search engines!)

As long as your navigation system is clear and usable, people will find your home page if they need to.

Thanks mivox.

Right now, all pages link back to index.htm
But I am not sure what pr index.htm will have.
I know a site can have multiple high pr pages.
But if my index.htm has pr4 (page2.htm has pr5), then link back to index.htm will not be as good as link to page2.htm

I am from the SEO point of view.
Users should be ok to find my all info pages.

Thanks,,,
