How do I get my site listed in Google and Ask etc

Hi I want to get my website listed in search engines such as Google and Ask. How do I go about this and what other good search engines are there that I could also benefit from. I want to get my site noticesd as much as possible.

What would I have to put in my meta description etc? And does more info in there help me.

Hi midi25,

If you go to the search engines in question you will be able to find this information.

Google does have a add url form, however, I usually build up links to my sites and let Google find it naturally.

With regards to ask:
Espotting controls the top 5 as they are pay per click but the rest comes from the Teoma database which is pay for entry.
