"An Add-On domain will allow you to host additional domain names under the same web hosting account. It is accomplished by pointing the nameservers of the new domain name to the server and simply adding the Add-On domain in your Control Panel. You will then have a folder on your main domain that will contain all of the files and folders for the Add-On domain."

So, how do search engines treat these domains and subdomains?

Thanks

Hello Zoobie and welcome to webmaster world!

All se's treat sub-domains seperately. For example, you could have:

[yourdomain.com...] wich is considered one domain

and your could have:

[secondomain.yourdomain.com...] wich is considered a new one altogether.

In terms of PR, it is calculated separetely.

I hope this has helped you
