Hello to everyone. I have questions as to what to do next.
I have a framed website and want to get good rankings in the 3 big SE's. I am currently advertising in Google by way of the PPC. The reason for this is because I do not have all of my products loaded yet. My webpages are constantly changing because of adding new products and dropping old items, etc. Would this hurt my rankings by always messing around with my pages like this? I am using Miva Merchant for the merchant end of my site. This is the reason I decided to create my site using frames. Would I be better off spending the 75 or so dollars a month on PPC or should I hire an SEC to get my site listed on the main area (not the PPC area) of the search engines?

Any help, as you can see, I really need it, is greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Ryan Church

Church, your challenge is much more likely to be the Miva URLs and not so much the frames issue. If you do a Site Search [link up top] for "Miva" you'll find about 40 threads.

The biggest issue I know of with Miva and Google is that by default Miva includes a "store=" variable in the wqyery string, even when you've only got one store. Google balks at query string URLs with two variables. I understand it's easy to eliminate the store variable if you only have one store.

If you can take on the project of dropping frames that may also help - but I'd deal with the query string issues first.

Thanks,
On my site I dont have any dead links. Everything that is a link is working and going somewhere. I have tried to use the site search several times and I cant get it to work. I keep getting a page can not be displayed error. What could I do to drop the frames but have my site look the same as it does now?

I really want to look into this:

"If you can take on the project of dropping frames that may also help - but I'd deal with the query string issues first."

Actually, Google doesn't like more than one ampersand in the url with miva merchant pages. Church, you should definitely hire someone for seo who knows miva merchant. For more info, search for google and miva merchant. I believe you might find some informative articles on the subject.
