I know my brain gives me crazy thoughts. But then how abt a contest for SEOs. Take a non keyword/phrase and make it into one. Some word like "googlebooms" which has no result. Each Seo goes for this one keyword and we see who gets the top 10. You may ask what is the purpose of such an exercise? We can analyse the results and learn something out of it. I know that we won't learn abt link popularity from this exercise but we sure will learn a lot more about on page optimization. Also to carry forward the thought process why not some more related crazy keywords. This way we can make a whole theme out of it and check out our concepts of theme. The time limit can be set to three months after this update. Maybe the mods out here can decide the rules.... am i generating any interest?

Didn't we already do this with

"silly+googlebombing+stories"

?

Can anyone beat eight hours and two minutes?

Wouldn't make sense...to be truly competitive it would have to be a phrase that returns millions of search results. Something most evryone here is already doing. Plus some here would get the advantage by sticking the term on one of their highest ranking PR pages (8 or 9) and instantly win....within a day ....once the freshbot visits.

in googlebombing we targetted only one part of google algo. i am talking of mainly "on page optimization" which constitutes a major part of any optimization project. When there are professional seos out there working on a single keyword/phrase let me assure you it will be competetive. The importance of the whole exercise is in gaining knowledge and experience. Funny i had a deja vu while typing this message ...

WW already has the contest for "googlebooms" in the bag after the next crawl. Game over.
