Small budget challenge!

Hi there!

To quickly sum up, I'm doing the seo for a client via an agency. The agency misquoted the submission prices to the client and as a result I now have to try and submit the best way I can.

Can anyone recommend a strategy, ie back doors into other engines etc. I'm aware it will take longer than paying but that's what I'm going to have to do.

Obviously I'm hitting Dmoz first, the other issue is Yahoo UK. I think I could probably manage the submission cost for that but do you think it is still worth it? If only for the link?
