Yesturday Google finally hits my site, and I place on their 3 rd page(yippie!) Im happy, so I check out Yahoo, and Im on the second page(yippie). Then around 10:00am this morning, Im gone, still on google but gone from Yahoo. Cant be found for that search word.

Now wait, this happened 2 weeks ago the exact same thing, Alta Vista finally comes by, I place top second page, decent rank here, later that morning, GONE! Still cant find me in that search word.

Is somebody using some software to sabotage me, and piss off the search engines? Or am I paranoid?

Same page places 10 back on msn and fast, should get a little better then that, were talking like 109th. I realize they are different search engines ect, but ther is a couple sites with same optimizations as mine, and they rank good on both msn and google....... I really think someone is doing something. Is there a link I can go to to submit a complaint?

Thank you for any help

It's not sabotage. You've just been a victim of Everflux [searchengineworld.com].

Hello deanril, I'm not sure for AltaVista, but for Google (and Yahoo which uses data from Google) this is normal. Pages with a FreshTag (date printed on the SERP next to the URL) get a temporary better ranking. Soon the Google dance will start. If you are lucky, it will be added to the normal index of Google. You wrote it showed up yesterday at Google. That might be too close to the Google dance. So you might need to wait one more month for that. Keep reading at WebmasterWorld and you will learn how to get a permanent nice ranking.

OMG...... I just read that link and the one WebGuerrilla gave for the search of Everflux.....Talk about being confused, lol! I have a general understanding though of some things, and no sabotage, was done, this is just how it goes.

Not very logical to me though, ofcoarse Im a newby. I understand why Google is so important, I saw on some other site, like 250 million searches a day, where as the closest runner up I think was fast or inkomi, being 100 million. So I guess the combo of yahoo and google is why the 250 mil, maybe some other search engines. I have been going to this site <snip> and using it and reading to optimize my site. I think its a great site for a beginner like me.

I am actually A Hardcore Computer Hardware enthusiast, and before having a site, I frequented many forums, so Im forum savy. And I know sometimes you get lame questions from newbies ect(like me) but I have always been like you guys and have been helpful, thanks alot!
