Hello,

I have a client that wants a splash page and I know that is bad news.

So, what if I put the content below the splash graphics with a jump-to link that would page users down to the real content and then use absolute positioning to present the content first in the code?

Is that an advisable method or should I just convince client not to use the "splash" page?

Thanks

I have done some work on search engine optimisation of splash pages. There is quite a lot you can do to give them real power on your main targeted phrases.

Large text is a great plus especially in Google.

Thanks Ian! So you think the concept is okay, putting the main info below the splash?

One more thing, what is the recommended height for a splash graphic?
