Just when I thought I was on the right track to figuring out search engines, and having my site listed in Yahoo and Google, I go to search the other day and it is nowhere to be found in either search engine. Even when I type in ______.com to see if it is listed, nothing comes up at all. Also there is a very old link to my site (hosted at like angelfire) in which I changed the description to "Page moved to _____.com... but now that old link has its old description back. Is this everflux or something else weird that is happening? When can I expect it stop (if it does?) It's been driving me crazy for a few days now and I figure you all can help me out.

Most likely yes.

The probably cause is Refresh Bot crawl your page(s) and you received a fresh listing. The time duration only last until the next fresh crawl within your topical area is posted - and if you were not crawled during the new refresh, your return back to ranked positions as per the monthly crawl.

If you didn't appear during that previous month update this means you would not be listed at all.

Be patience though - Google now knwo you exist - you'll get in shortly.
