Hello everybody, this is my first post.

I am re-orginising a web site with a lot of content but not much google exposure. There are thousands of articles but none are showing up on google, while other pages show up with PR 7. The URLs of the articles are as follows:
[domain.com...]

I think Google has problem with a lot of dashes and question mark in the URL. So, I am planning to do some rewriting and convert the URLs to this:
[domain.com...]

Do you think this will solve the problem? Any advise or pointers appreciated.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld aytekin,

Yes I think that will help. You have a lot of information in your query string. Google is probably not spidering those pages because of that.

Thanks Korkus2000.

Does google have problem with long paths/filenames like "2003021900326OSHLSW". I often see keyword1_keyword2_keyword3.html kind of results, so I am guessing it shouldn't be a problem.

I think I have read somewhere in the forum that two or less parameters in a dynamic URL should be fine(example.php?a=b&c=d). My example may suggest it might be looking at the length or included dashes in the parameters as well as the number of "&".
