As it has been over six months since I first submitted my company's site to the major search engines I decided check the position of my site on the following search engines by searching for keywords that relate to my company site vs. brand names displayed on the site:
1. Google
2. Alltheweb
3. Altavista
4. Wisenut
5. Teoma
6. MSN
I concluded as a result of these tests that unless you have a very specific keyword phrase that you are using to promote your product/site it is best to promote it as a brand name (the more unique the better).
