HI All,

As you know from previous posts I am consulting with a client as to SEO-and I'm a newbie-ok-not to get too specific, the e-commerce features products from a specific city-in fact the city is in our domain name-The country is very well known-in my title I mention both city and country-it this a mistake as it may too specific?
But everything about our site boasts the city.
Is this clear?
Comments please I need help!
Thanks...

australiangirl,

The most effective title will be <product><city><country> if your emphasis is on sales of the mentioned products. If the city is well-known and/or unique, you might consider omitting the country in favor of more product-related words.

It really depends on how broad the product segment is - If you feature a large mix of products whose only common factor is the city of manufacture, then it may be best to concentrate your product-specific SEO at the individual product page level.

You might want to try wordtracker to find out what people are actually searching for in your product/geographic area. There's a free trial available.
