Does google crawl files which have no extension?

I got a question about the googlebot.

I recentely launched a new website. Of course, I'm waiting for the googlebot, so that the website appears in the google index as soon as possible.
There is one thing I wonder about. I know that the googlebot doesn't care much about if the file-extension is htm, html or php for instance. But I wonder if the googlebot has problems with files that don't have an extension. (i.e. "http://www.domain.com/filename" - possible through the apache-url-rewrite-mod)
So my question is, could it argue googlebot out of crawling sites which fileextension is cut off?

Has anybody an idea?
Thanks in advance.

Google will crawl pages with no extension. We have many pages in the index in the same form: [domain.com...] Good luck with the new site.
