a little off topic but what are some good sites that allow free news/press releases. ie slashdot.org! Im just trying to find another way of helping with marketing. Thanks

not sure where in the world you are looking at, however 2 very good resources for the UK are:

www.sourcewire.com and www.pressbox.co.uk

NOT free, but quite cheap compared to some of the bigger wires.

I am not sure of the exact cost, but for press release distribution, PR News Wire [prnewswire.com] is one of the top wires.

You may also want to check out PRWeb [prweb.com], which is a free wire service.

I've found that PRWeb.com is a great resource, and its basic distribution service is free.

Though I'm not sure if they distribute to the UK.
