Dear sir!
I have made a new site, that will consists of about 5-700 pages.
I am making a sitemap where I outline the title(link) and the metadescription for each page.

Now I do not know how I should make this sitemap? Is it okay as I have done or is it way to much?

Will I be better of making some categories and link to them?

I hope You can help me as I am in great doubt?

Kindly!

Claus

Hello Claus
I would sure break up the map into seperate pages.
There are a few creative ways of dealing with a sitemap.
I would keep in mind two things:
- make it so that it benefits not only the spiders but also your users
- try strengthen your site's theming

Hi Heini!
Thanks for Your reply:-)
Okay I have done like this: [snip]No URLs Please[/snip]
I have divided my pages into 3 maincategories, and it is also a usefull site for the user I think.
Now if I only think of how searchengines react, would You say it looks good?
If not, do You have a suggestion to what I could improve?

Thank You very much!

Sincerely!
Claus

Burglar,

you might want to check Google's recommendations:

limit the amount of links to 100 or so.

There were some heated discussions on the importance of page sizes in this thread:
