Hi,

I'm really unsure about this and need some advice.

If I have a a default.asp page in the root of www.mydomain.com which based on the SERVER_NAME gets redirected to a particular page in a sub folder
e.g www.mydomain.com/folder/subfolder/page1.asp

If I only submit www.mydomain.com will this get indexed properly in the search engines bearing in mind its really a redirect or should I be submitting the folder www.mydomain.com/folder/subfolder/page1.asp

Also does it matter whether I submit
www.mydomain.com/folder/subfolder/page1.asp
or
www.mydomain.com/folder/subfolder/
if I have default.asp redirect page in here

Thanks In Advance!

Hi johnnydee, Welcome to Webmaster World [webmasterworld.com]

Google will follow the redirect so don't worry. Don't bother submitting to Google they don't pay attention to submissions. Just make sure that at least one other site, which has been indexed by Google is linking to www.mydomain.com and Google will index it.

Registrations in Yahoo and ODP will get you Googles attention within a month
