Is there a better way to find out if a site has been listed?
I have been entering my URL into the search fields of Yahoo, DMOZ,
Alta Vista, All The Web and Google without any matches appearing. I
have also used "u" with the Yahoo Directory, "allinurl" with Google
"url" with Alta Vista and "url.all:" with All The Web, all without any
matches. It was submitted one month today.

sorry about that.
I meant "yourdomain" without the dot com.

No, I haven't, because it's got the ISP domain and a "~" tilde, since I haven't got my own domain, as of yet.

Is it normal to do a search just using the URL in the search field of the search engine to see if it has been indexed?
