I'm looking for some information to present to a client or two that references the importance of search engine traffic, etc. Any one know of any decent articles?

Not that I can recall seeing - but then, judging by my own logs, it's all Google :) with the others around 1-10%, depending on the site.

Any chance the client would take a report from you, generated from your own logs as an example? Or perhaps somebody else has an article in mind...

Yes, it seems as though one of the best selling points to potential clients is a position report and an example of referals from existing clients.
I was looking for something to add to my current arsenal and the articles that were suggested were great.
