First they let the long termer (Flycast) drop, and now they post the largest loss in internet history:

Is that a old flag flapping in the breeze? No wait, it's Altavista. ;-o

A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money. -e dirksen

Not even an honorable mention of AV. I wonder what ever happened to those search patents they were holding?

Makes that purchase of a $23 million plane in February seem a little unwise.

*cough* wasn't one of the things they tried to patent spidering and indexing web pages?

Or am I slow on the uptake? hehe, or maybe it's "the search company" that's a little slow...ooops, there goes my market share.

Quick! Revenue, what works? Sign people up for a subscription inclusion plan with no hope for ROI...right.

Well, if it will help, I'll offer CMGI to buy AV from them for a buck fifty (as in $1.50 US). Think they'd buy it?

I think maybe CMGI should sign up for Amazon.com's panhandling idea...maybe that could cover the shortfall? BTW, that is one cool plane.
