30,000 pages indexed?

I guess this could only be a good thing im just taken back by the number ive seen meny people refer to these large number of pages indexd in major search engines is this normal? what are some of the largest out there to be more spacific are there one man shops or mom and pops sites with 10,000 or more indexed content pages if so is this a good promotional techniqe is it worth making a page per day or 10 meybe?

I have a large directory site on a single domain that needs more categories and translating into several languages. The first expansion phase will take it up to something like 75000 static pages, so I had concerns about maxxing out the engines. Mod msgraph found a single domain site with over 400k pages indexed by google, so that alleviated some of the concern over size.
