Backward Links

I have them but in google it does not post them

I have many links inbound and outbound. I am confused on backward linking because when I check it on google it does not show anything. What exactly is a backward link and if it is a inbound link, why would google not show anything for my site?

Backward links are the links pointing towards your site. Try searching for "link: [yourdomainhere.com"....] This should pull up the backward links. Also, if you have the Google Toolbar [toolbar.google.com] installed, when viewing your site in IE there should be a drop down option to view your backward links.
