Hi SEO gang --

When making a presentation to a prospective client, do you make any promises about the success the client will see after they use you and your services?

With all the spam from people/companies promising "Top 10 Results" and this and that and the other, we've always distanced ourselves from making any promises. In fact, we don't really even promote SEO services very much; we just mention it as part of our overall development services.

But if we decide to promote these services a little more strongly, thi becomes an issue. How do you convince the client of your abilities without sounding like the spam they've been getting in their mailbox?
