Hello,

I know that my site is in a niche market (more B2B than B2C oriented), and atm there's no direct-selling (just asking for a quote).

The site is listed in Yahoo, ODP, and most search engines (the omipresent google, av, etc) find it.

My question is now: is it worth investing in one of the following (paid inclusion):

1) Fast/Alltheweb (Lycos?)
2) Inktomi

other ideas on boosting traffic?

Tracking newsgroups works well for us. We developed technology, that finds newsgroup posts, that ask for our service. The best marketing is one, that people ask for!

Depending on the keywords you are targeting Inktomi can produce some very good traffic. The best thing to do would be to check MSN for some of your big traffic keywords and see how many Looksmart listings are above the Inktomi results. If you would be able to get on first pagewith Inktomi I would say go for it.
