Dear. Sir,

I am new search engine optimization. Now I have basic concept of creating doorway, but I have something confuse. Could you kindly help open my eye please?
What is the important factor of weight %, such as, if I create doorway pages “Thai silk” for Altavista.com. Should I create weight % the same as number 1?
If not how much weight % I should use?
What is the basic concept for thinking how much weight % that I should use?
What is the step by step for creating doorway pages?

Alta plays with the density on a "per rank" position. Rank 1 could be 9%, 2-8%, 3-12%...etc So don't try to base it on reading the serps unless you have an the tools to analyze it.

Shoot for 5% to 12% and you can tweak from there. It's not just a pure percentage, it is also a percentage in relation to the quantity of text on the page.

As far as I've seen (and from analyzing) it can be very different, as Brett said, depending on the rank of the page.

The numbers he gave are a good guideline. What I would suggest, too is look into building your link popularity as well, as Altavista also uses links to rank sites higher than others (though naturally, not the same as Google's Page Rank).

As far as creating doorway pages, don't worry about that. Just focus the content of the site you are creating around the words and phrases people would use to find your site...mine web logs if you have them, or if you can find them, somebody else's can help, too :)

Once you've done that, make sure that you utilize some differential html (eg, h1's, bold, italics...whatever) around the target keywords and phrases on your site. That will help put the emphasis right were you want it.
