Current List of Most Used Search Engines

...still looking for one.

I have looked and looked for a list of the most used search engines. (The ones I should care about most if I want people to find my website.)

When I think I've found a good list, it's months (a very long time is this business!) out-of-date. Or it's a list of "top" search engines selected according to someone's opinion rather than how often they are used.

If there is such a list, I think it would be valuable to post a note in this forum each time it is updated.

Thanks for the links. I'll keep my eye on both of them.

FYI the Nielsen March article shows data from December; the Jupiter April article shows data from March.

In March Google is listed third, though I was led to believe by other sources that it is now way ahead as number one!?!

Yahoo, MSN and AOL are portals...their figures include visitors for many reasons other than search
