Obviously, all the free-bee's > Google, ODP, Fast, Teoma. > as many targetted related recip links as poss (very strict, due to brand be associated to web activities).

Multiple listings with Yahoo * 5, LS/MSN partners * 5 = $3000.
Industry specific listings = $1500 for a few.
Translations = $4000

Where can the rest be blown ?

Overture ?

How would you go around blowing $10K on 1 years web marketing, assuming the content, structure is pretty solid.

With $10K, a pretty generous amount for PPC until the rest gets rolling, and some might need it for a long time or forever. It could vary depending on how much is getting eaten up how quickly.

Also, pay for inclusion, because of the fast turnaround time for modifications.

I would definitely spend money on

a) link popularity building campaigns and
b) offering reviews/articles about your site/service to ezines and industry specific newsletters and
c) community campaigns (contributing to newsgroups/mailing lists/forums)

There are so many ways of doing online marketing for free.

i would add inktomi
it always depends on the market you are targeting but changes are within 48 hrs and I heve clients that track thousands of referers through ink. I know everyone has mixed results but I have always found it fairly reliable and, as I said, for certain clients I would be dead with out it.

39$ for the first page
25$ for everyone after

you can sub pages if they aren't getting clicks, all tweaks show up quickly, etc.

<added>also very scalable and if you get good traffic you can always add more pages.

Agreed, jatar_k, that's what I was referring to with pay for inclusion. Also, at this point in time I'd keep an eye on Teoma and FAST paid inclusion as a possible for the future for a page or two.
