You can always use the good old WHOIS utility available everywhere.

I subscribe to [biznizsource.com...] I have forgotten the price but as I recall it was fairly steep. It's not really worth the money because 99% of the expired sites are political campaigns, religious sites, city government stuff and other worthless sites. It is very rare when a jewelry store or something like that comes along and then you have to be lightening quick in registering the domain or lose out. I have had the service for 2 months now and do not plan on renewing.

This may not help, but [godaddy.com...] will keep you posted on domain names you're interested in and let you know when they're about to expire. It's free.

hmm, missed that 'in yahoo' part - you'd have check the list against yahoo - it would take awhile.
