Hello All,

I've a quick question:

Can I use DIV tags on my site and expect the text therein to be indexed?

Thanks in advance,
Benjamin

Welcome to WmW Benjamin.

The search engines will read between the DIV tags. No need to worry. Are you using CSS or just regular DIV's?

Thank you very much for the reply!

Actually, I have used some CSS, and some just plain DIV tags. Will the search engines reject text in a DIV layer if the DIV utilizes CSS?

Thank you so much for your time...

very much not

because using css strips out so much junk code they will almost certainly rank the page better
