I've been using Adobe Go live for the last couple of years, but now I've learnt a lot more about html, java etc what would be a suitable upgrade. Lots of people here seem to favour Dream Weaver. Will this do what Go Live does and more?

They have a trial download on the Macromedia site - might as well give it a shot on your system.

I am a Mac and PC user and have used both programs. I have to say I think DW runs very clunky on the mac compared to Golive and I also have heard the new version on the Mac is worse. I hope no one gets offended because I love my mac and use it for a lot of things. I think the adobe programs blow away the pc versions. But I have to wonder what Macromedia is doing lately on mac development, seems like they are cutting corners. As for the features, DW is my prefered development tool. I agree the trial is something you should do but give it time, it is very different then GoLive.
