I recently had downloaded the 1984 Commercial from Apple's website - The one playing during the Super Bowl. During the viewing of the movie I downloaded – I froze the frames and noticed that the Olympic runner has an iPod on her hip ha!
I did not recall anything being on the hip of the original Olympic runner in the 1984 commercial. I quickly dug through my videotapes to watch the old original commercial and she had nothing on her hip.
How cool is that! Nice touch to add the iPod.
