Hi! I'm setting up a new web site and I want to offer to my clients the possibility to get their own email addresses at my domain (clientUserName@mydomain.com). How can I do that? What do I have to request to the hosting, to do that?

Thanks for your help!
Regards,

Karu

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Karu!

You only have to be hosting mail service, or have control of mail service for your domain to provide email addresses.

Web hosting and mail hosting are independent functions. Perhaps your current hosting provider gives you a control panel where you can assign email addresses? If so, you can use that for a small number of addresses.

For any large-scale operation, I'd recommend setting up your own mail server.

most hosting plans give you a contol panel of some kind so you can create email accounts for yourself. If you have this then you can do it manually for each person. If you don't have this and/or you don't have enough pop accounts with your hosting plan, you may have to upgrade or change to a different hosting company.
