Ok, so hopefully my description made sense. I am indexed in atw, but for my keywords that do very well (just optimized about 3 weeks ago) in msn, hotbot and others, I just can't find myself in atw. What, if anything should I do?
Thanks, Mac

if you just got in, they may not have fully indexed your site/page and/or have not run them through their system completely yet. things happen in steps so you may need to wait a little longer before your in the serps where you should be.

netcommr, Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure when I was submitted and/or added. I know that I developed the site, but haven't started any seo work until about 3-4 weeks ago. On MSN for one keyword, I have top spot, and the other is 16 and so on. How does one get top spots for most of your keywords?

Mac, with ATW it used to be a mix of classical onpage optimization and links. With the new enlarged index ATW claims algo improvements/changes. From what I see however those do not change the basic principles. Generally those sites tend to do well in ATW which rank well in Google without being dependant on high PR links.

macrost, MSN is a little different than a search engine like Google or AlltheWeb, they show results from another engine, a listing service, and a directory which makes them more of a service than an engine. Whenever you get traffic from a place or even just rank well there, try an find out who provides the database and then figure out why your listing is where it stands. Once you know why you rank differently on different places, then you can just go to the right sources/techniques for a good listing.
MSN is showing listings from 3 sources. Overture, Looksmart, and Inktomi.(in that order) Though, not all keywords will have results from all 3 databases. Which one are you in?

netcommr, I believe that it is from inktomi. I remember when they first started indexing my site, and I didn't pay for it. Is it a blessing in disguise?
