Paid listing doing worse than free listings

I just started using insite select about a month ago. I got 3 paid listings. I can do a search with the page title in quotes and other free listing from my site will appear first. I used to be in the top 3 consistently for my important key phrase. Now it's not even in the top 30.

I'm wondering if I should just abort the program. My free listings are doing great.

Any help appreciated.

dvduval - are those pages - the 3 paid ones - important pages in your site, are they well linked, have good kw density and everything else one should do for important pages?
It's clear that the program won't give any advantage in ranking to those pages.

Wouldn't do that for two reasons.
First I think those pages would dissapear from the index. The PFI pages reside in a special db, from which they naturally would be dropped. If and when FAST would pick them up in a free crawl is uncertain.

Second those pages are a good chance to play with the algo, trying to get a grip on Fast.
Any change you do will show 1-2 days later.

Searching for the name of the business, which comes up #1 on ALL other search engines, is now buried deep within the results. Since the page has around 500 incoming links and appears #1 on other engines, there is obviously a problem.

Further evidence: searching the title of other pages on my site that are not paid for spidering, they come up #1. The title of the paid spidering pages are nowhere to be seen.

There's got to be something wrong. I don't think it's me.
