will a site that is only one page (used as a keyword doorway page) that is linked to your main url, when that one page site gets banned from google, will your main url that is linked to this site(main site only has a incoming link, not out going to this site) get the boot too? If so, how to get around this? It seems like the thing to do on google in my feild of search terms.

also, one more thing. if a site gets banned and you change the domain name, is this a new site to googlebot?

teeceo, that's a little hard to say. I've seen one page sites do well.
Just to get a little closer to the specifics, is it primarily FAST / Lycos you're concerned with, since you're asking about Googlebot also?
