Hi

I have got 3 top 10 listings in fast, but they are not showing up in lycos.com, can anyone tell me when I can expect to see them in Lycos.
I'm not sure how long they have been in Fast, i think since the middle of October.

Thanks in advance.

I've had the same problem. We were in and out of Lycos for days, which I assumed was down to the update. However, now it seems to have settled down without the new listings (which rank high in Fast).

Anybody else had this problem?

I watch the T-Rex spider regularly hit my sites after they are submitted. This is ussually pointless becuase they rely on the fast data not their own for lycos.com. However lately I have noticed new spidering patterns from lycos. Deep crawls and un-requested crawls have been happening in the last week and 1/2.

Is this a sign of Lycos going back to their own database?

I hope so!

T-Rex has been round my way as well... just have to wait and see.

Im not sure that T-Rex hitting submitted pages has any significance. T-Rex has been doing this for some time (Did T-Rex ever stop visiting newly submitted pages?).

When you submit to lycos, T-rex comes within seconds.
What I see that is new, is random crawling. I have not seen this activity in 8 months and I monitor over 600 domains.

I'm getting great results in Lycos after optimising my clients pages then using the paid Inktomi option. Visits and orders are resulting!
